The A3OS Boxer hybrids have a category-leading MOI of 3350, which is between 30 and 70 percent higher than other leading hybrids. Other features include a low and deep center of gravity for easy to hit shots, maraging steel alloy pull-face with milled grooves for a more consistent performance, and a cambered sole designed to cut through turf interference.
The hollow-back #7, #8, and #9 irons have a progressive offset, which transition the launch conditions between the Boxer hybrids and the short irons for consistent yardage gapping. Rounding out the set are the PW and SW cavity-back short irons, which have been reshaped for maximum forgiveness and playability, yet will still appeal to the better player.

Moment of Inertia--This is the term applied to a clubhead's resistance to twisting when the ball is struck, and it can be expressed as a numerical measurement. A clubhead with a higher moment of inertia (or MOI) has greater resistance to twisting and offers more forgiveness on off-center hits (i.e., will fly straighter). The size and weighting properties of a clubhead can be manipulated to add a greater MOI.

By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Adams Golf A3OS 8 Piece Set (4-9 Hybrids, PW, SW) (Sports) The bad side of being a lefty is you are "left" out of most of the golf world. The upside is you can find fantastic deals in older equipment. I bought a set of brand new clubs for less than I'd pay for a beat up set if I was on the "right" side of the ball. This set is as good as anything on the market today. It has most of the modern updates since it is just this side of the physics revolution in golf equipment. Cheapest "Scot" on the green with the nicest set around. |
