Even though Bridgestone is known for their balls, I was skeptical when I was handed a B-Stone J38 DPC 5 iron. I had my search down to either the Mizuno MP-53 or the JPX 800 pros. As soon as I tried the J38's the others went out the window. While the mizunos provided more feedback (harsh at times) on toe/heal strikes, both the J38 and the Mizzy's were buttery when strikes were on the sweet spot. Ultimately I found the B-Stones to be more forgiving than the Mizuno's and just as soft. On the range I truly felt like I was throwing darts. Shots were both effortless and workable (Draw/Fade/High/Low). This continued to the first two rounds I played with them. Ultimately I would recommend these for anyone looking for forged irons with a handicap north of 20.
