Callaway once again makes a giant leap forward with its Razr Hawk driver. The driver is made using Forged Composite technology, the result of a unique partnership between the research and development teams of Callaway and super car maker Lamborghini.

The Razr Hawk's streamlined face reduces drag by 43 percent compared to the FT-9. |
The revolutionary new material--used in the crown of the clubs--is one-third the density of titanium, yet features a greater load carrying capacity per unit mass in bending. This allows engineers to precisely control the thickness like never before, resulting in a clubhead that's lighter and stronger than every other club on the market. The extra-long club configuration also has an extremely high moment of inertia, helping it generate faster head speeds, higher ball speeds, and greater distance without compromising forgiveness. With the Razr Hawk driver, there are no tradeoffs.
The Razr Hawk offers several other advantages. The club's Hyperbolic Face technology, for instance, is the result of a chemical milling process that selectively removes excess material to precisely control the thickness across the face. This produces consistently high ball speeds and longer distances. The driver's aerodynamic head shape, meanwhile, features a streamlined, contoured surface that minimizes energy loss during the downswing. By reducing drag by 43 percent compared to Callaway's FT-9 driver, the club encourages higher impact speeds and added distance. Razr Hawk drivers also feature the Razr Weighting System, with draw and neutral configurations that allow golfers to choose the model that best works with their natural ball flight.
Finally, the Razr Hawk driver sports an Aldila RIP graphite shaft with optimized torque and flex characteristics. This creates better tip stability with great predictability, a smooth feel, and excellent control.

Technology Leads The Way,

I was blown away by this driver the moment I picked it up. After watching the gentleman at my local Golf USA smack the ball about 360 yards with this, I thought I'd give it a try. My drives were consistently down the middle (neutral bias) and about 10 yards was added (I can't hit over 300 yards). The forging technology developed in tandem with Lamborghini means club head thicknesses are more consistent and the material is lighter than titanium. While the club face is still titanium, the rest of the club is forged composite making it lighter, allowing Callaway to make the shaft a long 46". Demo this club folks. I never thought in my dreams I would spend this much for a single club, but it has changed my game immensely. I have never been a more firm believer in the technology that goes into a golf club as I am now. Cheers to long straight drives. Shoot straight.

I just got & played the Razr 9.5 stiff neutral, it will replace my Callaway FT5 after using both drivers it is about the same in distance but a little harder to control because of the added legnth, I guess I was expecting at least a 10 yd gain, not happening with me, also playing the FT5 most shots found center fairway, but with Razr most found the rough, I may have it re shafted with a shorter & stockier shaft to make it more stable, my swing speed is at 100 & I'm a 10 hdcp. I wish I saved the money & stayed with my reliable FT5 which I may go back to & sell the Razr, but I'm going to play a few more rounds with it & document length & accuracy.
I was able to play 18 holes & hit 2 drives on most using both drivers while checking for distance they were about even sorry to say, I do feel as if I wasted the money on some miracle driver if there is such a thing. I would recommend buying one only if you really need a new driver or a major upgrade to the one you have now. spend some of...Read more

I've been a lifetime Callaway user and once again was thrilled with their product.
I'm getting massive drives and the ball is flying like never before. I just upgraded from a Callaway Great Big Bertha Hawkeye Titatnium, circa 2000
The driver size comparison, old to new, is unreal.
460 CCs of power waiting to be unleashed.
I've been playing golf since I was 5 (29 now), and this is by far the best driver I've ever hit.
I'd highly highly recommend it.
