time you step on the course with the Callaway Razr X Tour hybrids. The hybrids leverage Callaway's Zero Roll design to help golfers hit the ball higher and longer, even shots struck low on the face. This not only increases distance on the fairway or out of the rough, but it also produces softer landings--a must when approaching a green surrounded by hazards. Callaway also gave its standard Razr X Tour hybrids a larger head size, making them more forgiving while generating shots that fly higher, longer, and straighter.
The Razr X Tour hybrids offer other advantages as well. The clubs feature Callaway's aggressive Variable Face Thickness technology, with precision shaping for each individual hybrid. This increases the size of the sweet spot while delivering hotter ball speeds and longer distances. One crucial difference between the standard and Tour versions of the Razr X hybrid, however, is that the standard version has an offset hosel to help square the clubface at impact, while the Tour version has less of an offset, which boosts workability for the more skilled player. The clubs conclude with Razr X Tour hybrid graphite shafts and Callaway men's universal grips.

The Good: This is a beautiful club to look at. The ball flies off with a satisfying crack and a springy feel as if the ball is staying a fraction of a second longer on the club face. Slices and hooks are minimal with a nicely shaped fade or draw (or straight) that is easy to control. Consistency with this club is wonderful, much easier to control than my 4 iron which would be the next club to reach for in the lineup for shots 200+ yards out. Compared to the non-tour version this is more neutrally aligned. While the Razr X standard version is a touch larger and engineered to produce a bit of a draw I found its draw was always threatening to turn into a wicked hook. The tour version is generally straight with a lot more flexibility to use your swing to move the ball around with flexibility.
In between: The club head is smaller than the non tour version which looks like it would be harder to hit and won't necessarily inspire confidence in the average golfer. That being said, I...Read more

I have never owned any hybrids before well it was a great investment. I purchased 2-4 Hybrids and have no regrets, they have improved my game and have great control. Its deffinetly easy to fly the green if you arent careful on a par 5's. Keep your head down and smooth swing... Thanks again

I have hit all the hybrids and Callaway is the most forgiving. Being able to put the ball where it needs to be even on mishits is unbelieveable. Callaway seems to be to only manufacturer taking advantage of the technology by using muti-material construction to put the weight where it needs to be for trectory and maximum forgiveness.
