This 310-gram tour-proven product is 25 grams lighter than the average tour driver due to ultralite engineering in the shaft and grip. This means the 310 not only provides the workable trajectory and stable feel demanded by the best players in the world - it also helps players generate higher clubhead speed. The combination of the Miyazaki C. Kua 59-series shaft and the compact, 440cc clubhead work best for the precision player seeking tour performance.
Product Features
Right Weight Fitting: The TL310 is engineered "Tour Lite" - providing precision players with workability. The slightly more compact clubhead and deeper MaxCOR II face are both preferred by Tour players.
Ultralite Technology: The 59-Series Miyazaki shaft and Lamkin 46-gram grip account for a 25 gram weight savings over the average tour driver, meaning this driver will help players generate gains in clubhead speed, including stronger players.
Miyazaki C. Kua Ultralite Shaft: Miyazaki is the #1 shaft brand under 60 grams on the PGA Tour. This 59-Series C. Kua shaft provides a Tour-proven lower trajectory and a stable feel.

The shaft is clearly designed for the better player as its torque is low and the kickpoint is high ( which causes a mid-low trajectory). I am a 7 handicap, and this is one of the few clubs I feel I can swing hard with and the shaft won't flex like crazy causing me to hook. If you do your research you will find that this shaft alone can cost between 200-250 dollars.
