The HiPPO golf brand was born out of Howson Sports, a UK based sports equipment manufacturer in 1989. It has grown rapidly to become the largest European-based brand in the golf industry. The original objective was to create a unique wood head design that would provide superior performance at excellent value to the golfer. A team of UK based professionals, including PGA European Tour Director and player DJ Russell, was recruited to thoroughly test prototypes.
