The Hex2 also employs Hippo's patented Integrated Technology, which marries ultra-light woven 3K carbon-fiber radius side rails to a 6-4 titanium crown and sole. Because the crown and sole are welded to the super-hard-forged beta ti face, the club enjoys the thinnest face possible, creating a swing with a powerful trampoline effect and unmatched power. The HiPPO golf brand was born out of Howson Sports, a UK based sports equipment manufacturer in 1989. It has grown rapidly to become the largest European-based brand in the golf industry.
