Nickent 4DX Special Edition Driver (460cc)
- The 4DX SE has a .4 mm laser welded thin titanium crown that is the secret to its success.
- Two XW weight cartridges add sixteen grams of weight and help to deliver a powerful punch for maximum distance.
- Patented A-frame face designed to produce high COR/CT higher in the face than in conventional drivers This is another reason so many golfers are seeing so much distance gain from the 4DX.
- Weight is spread to the extreme heel and toe by the XW Insert by increasing the MOI and making the head more forgiving and stable at impact.

Summary: Fabulous, traditional driver 2008-04-17
Comment: I got the 4DX Special Edition last December, replacing my 4DX Draw-Spec driver. The look behind the ball is classic pear-shape, and the gunmetal finish is not only beautiful, it is functional, as well. A quick wipe of the face before swinging will give you ball-on-the-face feedback as well as tape would.
The club is forgiving without being numb and unworkable. I'm an 11 handicap, and have absolutely no troubles with this club off the tee box. The sound is classic, as well, as opposed to so many new, deep drivers that sound like empty tuna cans striking the ball.
Best recommendation point: I would run out today and buy this club again. How can you lose, given the competitive price point?
