Comment: My wife just picked up the sport and was very pleased with the quality of these clubs. The feel is great, the bag more than ample size, and She is having a blast learning with this set. It's a great price, the delivery was prompt, and they came well packaged.

Summary: Good beginner set 2008-10-06
Comment: I have no complaints about the Prosimmon Icon Tall Men's + 1" Hybrid Club Set & Stand Bag. It's a great deal for the price. I've used mine several times now and have had no problems with my clubs. I only play once a week and I am a beginner golfer so my opinion is based only on my experience with this set of golf clubs and not comparing to other sets that more experienced players may know about.
Before purchasing this set, I went to a local golf shop to get measured. I was told that I should purchase a longer set than the standard length sets since I am 6'3". However purchasing an extra length set from name brands would be very expensive. I was happy to find this + 1" set on Amazon for such a low price.

Comment: Good set for beginners. I really like the Hybrid clubs, they are easier for a beginner to hit then the other woods. Bag did not match description; Beige. It came Black and Silver which I like much better. Bag feels cheap, but the clubs are good which is the important part.

Summary: Broken shafts. 2008-06-29
Comment: I purchased the prosimmon icon club set Oct.07 and although cosmetically they look fine and the grips and balance feel fine also, I am concerned about the durability of the set. The 5 iron shaft snapped off about 6 weeks ago, the driver head split at the top of the face, both have been replaced by prosimmon expediantly. Subsequently, the shaft on my 8 iron snapped off just last week like the 5 iron did, and am presently waiting for a response. I am concerned what will happen once my 1 year warranty expires.
