Product Review
The Rife Island Series Bimini Putter is designed for traditionalist players, with a refined design for optimum feel and playability. Inspired by the classic 8802 blade, the Bimini features a true blade design with additional Rife performance features. The blade has a slight raised toe as well as Rife's patented RollGroove Face Technology for the most immediate forward roll available. However, the Bimini does not have the vertical notch on the back edge of the top line like most Rife putters, for the most traditionally designed blade putter available from Rife. Like all Rife putters, the Bimini is made out of 100 percent milled 304 stainless steel. The Bimini putter comes with a magnetic clasp headcover.
Rife's Patented RollGroove Technology: Conventional putters chip the ball out of its depression with four to six degrees of loft, creating a slight backspin until the ball hits the ground and the friction of the grass causes the ball to skip or skid before it begins its true forward roll. By contrast, Rife putters feature precisely milled and spaced grooves that grip, hold, and release the ball into an immediate forward roll, eliminating the skipping and skidding created by traditional putters, for a more consistent and accurate roll on every stroke with less loft (1.5 to two degrees compared to the four to six degrees of loft on a conventional putter). Without the grooves holding the ball through the depression, the ball would slide up the face (like it does with a traditional flat face putter) losing energy and creating very inconsistent distance control. With RollGroove Technology the effects of grass grain on your ball are greatly reduced because the ball is not skipping or skidding (high friction) but rolling immediately (low friction) so your ball will hold the line better and your reads will be truer.

this is the most balanced putter i have ever wrapped my hands around. i have used a variety of putters in the past, bullseye, ping zing, classic scotty cameron, but this rife is the 1st putter i picked up and felt instant comfort. i looked into a similar yes! putter, but the rife was the simplest for the eye to look at. i ordered a 35" shaft for two reasons - 1. I'm 6'2" and did not want to have to crouch down everytime i putt. 2. b/c the putter is shaft goes into the head on the heel, it is closer to your body and the longer shaft allows more room to find that perfect stroke. i highly recommend the Rife Island Series Bimini Series.
excellent putter,
