The irons' exceptionally deep cavity design, meanwhile, creates a low and deep center of gravity (CG), making it easier to launch the ball higher and create an optimum combination of carry and control. As a result, you'll excel whether launching long shots from the fairway or approaching the green from 85 yards out. Want great power and responsiveness? This full set of irons--3 through 9, along with a pitching wedge--more than delivers. Other features include a moderate offset that promotes a square clubface at impact for improved accuracy; your choice of either a RE*AX 65-gram graphite shaft or a T-Step 90-gram steel shaft, each of which promotes a higher clubhead speed and a strong release for increased distance; and TaylorMade logo grips with hundreds of extremely short slots positioned parallel to the line of the shaft for increased feel, comfort, and traction.
