The irons employ TaylorMade's improved rac (relative amplitude coefficient) technology, which channels the impact to all the right areas of the club head to reduce vibration. The clubs' redesigned Tuned Performance Cartridges (TPC), meanwhile, reallocates 16 grams of weight to enhance the moment of inertia (MOI) and center of gravity (CG) for better distance and control. The latter improvement is particularly valuable, as the precision-positioned CG promotes a lower trajectory and helps golfers maximize shot-shaping. Other features include a head and body shape inspired by the rac TP Forged irons; a tour-cambered sole that glides through turf with ease; and a thin top line and slight offset that encourage visual confidence.
