At only 1.5mm thin, the face is backed by a hollow core filled with a newly developed thermal plastic elastomer gel (TPEG). The combination of the super-thin face and the TPEG produces an advanced level of feel and feedback not possible in traditional steel wedges. Playability is maximized through the Tour Proto's tour-grind sole. Minimizing turf interaction at the heel and toe allows players to easily open the face or shut it down for the ultimate in shot making versatility. Utilizing the latest shaft technology, the Tour Proto features a True Temper DG Spinner shaft.
