I started playing golf two years ago and my handicap is a 19. I play three times a week from June through August, then about once a week til the snow comes. I have hit these clubs five times already. They are exactly what i was looking for. Easy to hit, long, and forgiving. My rating is four stars because the grips are Wilson, but the Wilson website said the grips should be Lamkin (I know, picky!). I love the step-less shaft. I was hitting a hand-me-down set of Hogan cavity back clubs and it was time for a NEW set, so I shopped around looking for above average quality and a great price. The Ci9s were the best choice for me. I would buy these clubs again given the same circumstances.

I purchased the wilson staff CI 9 irons, these clubs are an exceptional value. I would rate them as good as several other major brand clubs that sell for alot more. I have worked as a Course Superintendent for 25 Yrs. and have seen or hit just about all of the top brands. This product is good for those who are new to the game and are learning how to hit the ball properly. So, the price point is good if this is you. Wilson makes solid products, this just wasn't for me. Some reason I couldn't get the same distance I got from my Nike CCi's. I was hoping to find a more forgiving set of clubs than the blades but not lose the distance. These clubs have very light heads on them.
